A fault-tolerant photovoltaic integrated shunt active power filter with a 27-level inverter

چکیده

This paper introduces a fault-tolerant shunt active power filter (SAPF). The novility in of this work is that it poposes solutions to increase the reliability maintain its operation under single-phase open-circuit fault SAPF. will whole system. SAPF composed 4-leg 27-level inverter based on asymmetric cascaded H-bridge topology. If an introduced SAPF, special control technique be implemented and redundant leg activated. can do many tasks healthy operating conditions post open circuit depending state charge (SOC) batteries. It mitigate harmonics system, improve factor system by injecting reactive power, inject real proposed tested simulated MATLAB/Simulink results have shown significant improvement total distortion (THD) source current from 13.9% 3.9% normal condition 42% 8.4% fault.
